Alexis was the sweetest son I could have ever asked God to give me, he was born intelligent and good looking, loved basketball and played since he was six in the town´s team. He loved school and friends and had the wonderful quality of enjoying everything and anything he did.
It didn´t matter if it was watching a movie and eating popcorn at home with his sister or going skiing which he did every year for his birthday.
When he enterend in the hospital he became a different person, he was never a happy child again and though we never told him the illness he had, he knew at the end though he was only 10 years old, I am sure of that and I know that even though he didn´t want to die when the moment came it was the best of all moments for him.
He was so important in my family of two children and husband and husband that 2 years after his death the family just fell apart and his sister and father parted in different directions leaving our home. Today I am the only one there... I guess I am the only one who had enough guts to stick it out with out him but each day it get´s harder.
I will never be able to get over it, only live accepting the reality and I know he is with me helping live day by day.
